Science Committee

Who Are We?

We are Kings Hill School Science Committee; it is our job to raise the profile of science within our school. We meet weekly with Miss Weller and Miss Francis, looking at different areas of science within the school, resourcing for both Key Stage 1 and 2 and ways in which we can inspire younger pupils. 

How We Make A Difference...

Our aim is to work with the science subject leaders to promote science within our school. We will be trialling and reviewing physical and online resources, sharing our findings with the appropriate year groups. As passionate science ambassadors, we are keen to encourage and inspire a love of science within the school and have already planned some experiments we will be running with the younger children in Key Stage 1. This academic year, we will be helping to run our school’s science week and supporting classes across the school. We are excited to share our love of science with the rest of the school!
