Skara Brae Outdoor Learning

Last week, Year 3 took part in an outdoor day all about the Stone Age. We had great fun making our own spears and we talked about how they would be used in the Stone Age.  We then made our own cave paintings using charcoal creating pictures with our fingers, we got very messy!  In the afternoon we looked at Skara Brae which is a Stone Age settlement in the Orkney islands, we then made our own Skara Brae using natural materials.
