KS1 Football Tournament

On a bitterly cold Thursday morning, a team of Year 2 boys and girls travelled to Aylesford to take part in a KS1 football tournament against four other schools. Battling against the elements, the tournament was cut slightly short due to how cold it actually was, meaning the team played only 4 games instead of 8.   

The cold didn’t faze them, as they won their first 3 games comfortably, scoring bags of goals and impressing everyone in attendance! They were strong and confident and played very well but unfortunately we lost our last game 2-1, meaning we finished the tournament in 2nd place. A wonderful achievement for the boys and girls who played, well done!
